Finding a job is challenging in any culture.  This challenge is only exacerbated for underprivileged children without the means and expertise to navigate the job market.  Stella’s Child has made great strides in developing the skills, self-confidence, and abilities of underprivileged children through our Entrepreneurship and Life Skills Programs making them more employable. 

 

The JTI Program consists of 4-days of full-time vocational training at premiere Bali-based businesses in the hospitality and technology sectors.  The program further includes 8-hours per week of intensive life skills programs and one day a week of special interest training (Entrepreneurship, Event Management, or Community Action) to further build the self-confidence and self-esteem that these children need to become successful, contributing members of our society.

We are currently accepting applications for 4 leadership positions.  This is a dynamic opportunity to learn and grow your leadership and managerial skills while helping youth from the community reach their full potential!  These are 2-month full-time assignments and you will receive remuneration in the amount of IDR 4,000,000 per month.  Program Coordinators will receive full training and support from the Stella's Child staff and volunteers.  We are seeking to fill positions for May & June, June & July, July & August and August & September.   (NOTE:  You may also be eligible to serve for two consecutive Internships - this will be discussed with you during the interview process.  Please indicate if you wish to be considered in your application form.)

You will work as part of an international team of leaders and mentors to assist in the development and implementation of the JTI Program which will enroll 12-16 Indonesian teens as part of their high school vocational training requirements.  Additional details about the program that you will be leading is in the Program Guide.  You can also learn more about Stella's Child and our programs on our Impact Gallery.
