Stella’s Child exists to support Indonesian youths from deeply disadvantaged backgrounds as they prepare to leave their homes and orphanages and enter the world of work.

We are an efficient and highly effective grassroots organization that equips these youths, aged 6-20, with the skills they need to succeed in life and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.

Job Training Program

The youth engaged in the program are trained at some of Bali’s premiere businesses and receive additional training from Stella’s Child in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Global Citizenship, Self Esteem and Confidence, Computer Literacy, English Language, Character and Moral Development, as well as Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, and Employee Rights and Responsibilities. The program has received major accolades from the youth, the businesses, and the mentors engaged.

In our Community Action Projects, we work with local youth to find out what they want to change. The kids learn how to assess the options and aim to structure a project which uses their personal strengths to achieve a greater good. We work together will different volunteer professionals coming from diverse backgrounds, such as, project planning, eco-tourism and many more.
